I want to bring up an important topic to Exec Bored. Workplace Safety. Although the worst thing that can happen to me at my job is a bad papercut or mild disorientation from seeing how many times I can spin around in my office chair, these videos scared the crap out of me. All five are here.

Incredible. Somewhere there is a director admiring his work as really changing the way employers think about safety. Elsewhere, everyone else is laughing at the absurdity of a man being blown off a roof and BOUNCING off a truck like a tennis ball.

The first one was absolutely horrifying. Last night I was pulling some ramen noodles out of the microwave and I tipped the thing over, spilling hot water all over my arms. I panicked, but it turned out to not be so hot. Man, hot water terrifies me.

How effective can these be? I don't get it. Does anyone really disagree with "workplace safety"?

Hmm, actually that gives me a few ideas for some Smoke Breaks, from Damian's stint as a cardboardbox maker at a lampshade factory...definitely not a safe place to work.
