In my 19 year career in the NHL I racked up more than 2,000 penalty minutes and dropped my gloves more than 100 times (winning 19 fights, and battling seven times to a draw). I played bucketless and established the mustache as a symbol of fear and intimidation in the National Hockey League.
But enough about my glory days. After wrapping up my unlikely career in professional sports, I entered the corporate world to bring my leadership and character from the locker room to the board room. As part of the best regional sales force team in the Pacific Northwest, I have outperformed two of the eight members of our team in three of the last nine years.
Sometimes I watch old fights of myself on YouTube.
